The Cake Eater is our go to tire this season and the 27.5×4.0 studded fat bike tire from Terrene is a must have. Here in the Midwest and in most places you need studded fat bike tires to handle the ice that shows up on the trail in the winter. The freeze/thaw cycle can literally throw you for a loop and we recommend that all of our customers get a set of studded tires.

Inspired by studless winter vehicle snow tires, Cake Eater was designed to have lower center tread height with deep siping for lower rolling resistance while the side lugs remained tall and edgy for biting into soft corners. Studs pockets were added in the transition areas for optional added cornering confidence in icy conditions.
Cake Eater is our fully studdable fast rolling fat tire for long days on the trail and is available in 26×4.0, 26×4.6, 27.5×4.0, and 27.5×2.8.
